Overview
Citizen Automator was a monthly nurture email that went out to the Tray Platform Users to highlight use cases, features and upcoming webinars. My part on this on-going series was to create new email headers and in-body images for the emails.
Responsibilities
EMAIL HEADERS | SCALABLE SYSTEMS This project being a monthly task, I was thinking about how to make this more efficient and scalable as a designer. I approached this project by creating 2 abstract illustrations with multiple different parts so that I could zoom in/out or rotate it before masking it resulting in it being something different every time.
The brand’s color palette being as colorful and playful as it was gave me some room to think about color combos and themes for each month (i.e. Pinks for February for Valentine’s Day, Greens and Pinks for May for Mothers Day, etc.). It was truly the little things.
Responsibilities
ANIMATED EMAIL HEADERSAfter working on the illustrations for the email headers, it quickly came to mind that it could be something to ad subtle animation to to give it a little extra touch. It was a really fun project to do as the cadence of the animations emulated the concept of automation with one thing happening triggering another thing to happen.
